We are a mother daughter team invested in creating a home for the yoga community here in Sylvan Lake and beyond!

 At the heart of our business we are yoga teachers and are inspired to share the physical, mental and spiritual sides to this ancient practice. This practice has not only inspired us to sweat, move and breathe together, it has helped us transform a once estranged relationship into a loving and working partnership.

 With Yoga, Community and Connection at the forefront of our studio's culture our goal is to provide classes that keep you coming back, more than that though, we hope to be the space for you to work through the challenges and celebrate the triumphs that arise as we journey through life. When you visit our yoga studio we hope you feel welcomed an invited to be part of friendships, learning, growing and expanding out into the best version of you.

Own Your Light Yoga began as a virtual yoga studio providing zoom classes as way to stay connected during the pandemic. From being in your living room, to guiding classes in the park to opening our doors it has been an incredible journey! Growing as teachers, entrepreneurs and leaders for our community is what motivates us to provide the best service that we can right from where we are. Where will we go from here?
