For a long time I believed that someone better suited to share the practices of yoga should. Someone smarter. Someone more flexible. Someone calm who didn’t yell at their kids. Someone else entirely. After all, who did I think was sharing an ancient, profound and spiritual practice? The practices of yoga have given me so many gifts. The impacts continue to ripple out day after day, year after year. The physical practice has got me hooked and the powerful methodology continues to reveal real tangible tools to access even more possibilities on and off my mat. The impact of yoga in my own life continues to enhance my connections, not only with my family and with others, but with myself. The question then became for me, who am I not to share this powerful work? I know I'm far from a perfect yoga teacher, wife, mom or human being, I am however, devoted to being my imperfect self and in doing so hope to inspire you to do the same.
I have called my home Sylvan Lake for over a decade. I'm so grateful I share my life with my husband, daughter and son. My career as an instructor began in group fitness classes. I fell in love with working out while making new friends. It ignited a passion deep within to share this uplifting experience with my community.I am proud to be a Certified Group Fitness Instructor . I started out teaching group aerobics and boot camp classes. My interest then led me to yoga and I took my first teacher training in 2016 and have been teaching Baptiste inspired yoga since. I have had the opportunity to learn from and train with many leaders in the yoga community and hope to continue to do so for many years to come. True connections and real relationships are what drives me to be of service through yoga and fitness. A beautiful community filled with humans beings who empower one another is the way I believe we will transform our world for the better. I've leaned into my heart and it has led me here. It has led me to sharing this powerful work with you!
